No carding, no skimming and no phishing, just plain old physical robbery, done properly.
I just moved my hacking collection of bookmarks from the page on this blog to the main site stuff section, since keeping here as a blog page didn’t make much sense. I’ve left a link on the upper page navigation menu though, for convenience and backwards compatibility. 🙂
PS: I also added a version number for easier version tracking. The current release is 0.3, since I’ve only updated the collection 3 times, as far as I can remember.
Hackers: Wizards of the Electronic Age is a short historic documentary about the early days of hardware and software hacking as well as the huge industry(ies) that was about to explode. The documentary dates from around 1985, well before the internet took shape and the web didn’t even exist, not to mention that opportunity to see the likes of Steve Wozniak and Richard Stallman in their youth and in action baby! Take 30 minutes and watch it, it’s worth every minute:
The video description:
A girl who played World of Warcraft died in real life and the friends she had met in the game planned an in-game funeral for her. They posted about the event on the message boards and urged people not to bust it up. I don’t think I need to explain what happened; the video speaks for itself.
I didn’t make the video. I just uploaded it.
